Indulge yourself

Whatever the time of year, it’s always a good time to indulge yourself with a relaxing holiday – and where better than by the seaside? Morlaix Bay offers everything you need to feel pampered and relaxed. Sit back, and let us tell you all about it…

The height of luxury

If you’re looking for a prestige hotel, we have plenty on offer. Firstly, the elegant 4-star Hôtel de Carantec is famous for stunning panoramic views and the bonus of a Michelin-starred restaurant. Even a meal here is magical, watching the lights on the water, but book a room and you’ll be drifting serenely down to breakfast with the whole bay before you.

The 4-star Grand Hôtel des Bains in Locquirec is also right on the sea, and feels like a film set with its turn-of-the-century charm, broad decking areas and tree-lined terraces. There’s plenty of open space and natural colours, while the added bonus is the luxury spa, including a pool, sauna, steam room and treatment suites.

Spa facilities

Taken by the idea of spa treatments? They’re not only in the grand hotels. The Evel Er Ger Bed & Breakfast overlooks the sea at Locquirec and offers luxurious bedrooms, a sleek indoor pool (included in your stay) plus a Jacuzzi, fitness room and sauna. At breakfast, gaze over Morlaix Locquirec Bay and if you opt for an evening meal, the table slowly turns so everyone enjoys the view!

Alternatively, the three-star L’Albatros just outside Morlaix also has an indoor pool, Jacuzzi and sauna and also offers an on-site restaurant if you don’t fancy going out.

And of course, you can always opt for indulgence à la carte: choose your own haven to stay in and simply book a treatment or day pass at one of the nearby Spas, such as Locquirec’s Grand Hôtel or the Thalasso Roscoff.

Calm seaviews

If it’s the sea that calms you, the two-star Hôtel du Port has the advantage of harbour views and is a short stroll from the historic streets of Morlaix centre, while Au Temps des Voiles in Plougasnou offers a fitness room, outdoor pool and on-site restaurant with the bonus of fabulous views across the water.

As for seaview Bed & Breakfasts, La Barcarolle in Locquénolé is peaceful and understated, offering homemade breakfasts and a personal welcome from Mme Verdier, while the Vue Mer B&B is a stunning contemporary property with breathtaking views across the waters of Carantec. Both B&Bs would be perfect for pampering, unwinding or perhaps penning a novel with the sea as inspiration.

Relax in an historic setting

Finally, we can offer you an historic setting worthy of any period drama, where you can be the hero or heroine in your own dream holiday.

Right in the centre of Morlaix, Les Colombages is an historic timbered house with four poster beds, impressive oak beams and a 16th-century spiral staircase that offers B&B to fortunate guests. Also in Morlaix centre, Mme Paugam welcomes you to Liviou an amzer, a medieval residence with original features and modern comforts, all with an artistic twist. From either of these wonderful retreats, a leisurely walk takes you to the market square (on Saturday), the restaurants and tea-rooms.

Further out, between Morlaix and Saint-Pol-de-Léon, the Manoir de Lesplouenan is a 16th-century manor complete with chapel and period furniture and a breakfast complete with home-made preserves that will tempt you to linger for hours.

Whatever truly helps you to unwind, you’re sure to find it here in Morlaix Bay.
