Snorkeling and Flipper-trips

Snorkeling is known as "La balade à la palme" in French, which is rather like saying "Outings by a flipper". It’s an activity that’s enjoyed all along the coast by enthusiasts decked out in wetsuits, snorkels, flippers and masks.

As you might imagine, it’s a way of seeing Morlaix Bay from an entirely new perspective...

The Diving School at Plougasnou offers a snorkel trip that takes you along the coastline, not going too deep, just enjoying the sensations of discovering the area from the water.

Fully kitted out, you’ll have be able to see things from a new angle, discovering new sights and sensations, even taking a tour around the Château du Taureau or perhaps, if you’re lucky, spotting the occasional seal.

These excursions are open to everyone and can be a great activity for families and groups of friends. The circuits on offer are adapted to suit the individuals, the weather and the experience of those in the group.
