The attractions and charms of Locquirec Peninsula have been written about in countless magazines, and praised by travellers and writers alike.

Locquirec dans la tempête, Bretagne
Strolling along the port, with the only sound being the wind whistling through the boats, you’ll soon appreciate the particular atmosphere of this special place.
You’ll pass by the church then you’ll spot the legendary Grand Hôtel des Bains, which was the setting for a film, "l’Hôtel de la Plage", made in 1977 by Michel Lang, and helped to build Locquirec’s reputation.

At the beginning of the path, be sure to pop into the Réjane Louin Gallery, full of contemporary art.
Locquirec plages et criques, Bretagne

Open to everyone and, more recently, even accessible to those of limited mobility, the coastal path winds its way past beautfil stately villas and little sheltered creeks with evocative names (la Palud, le Bilou, la roche tombée) that offer a magnificent view right to the famous Pink Granite Coast.

On the site of a former slate quarry, you’ll see a monument, where you can read all about Locquirec’s rich trading past, all thanks to a blue schist stone that can still be seen on the old building. Finish your stroll with views over Pors ar Villiec beach, renowned among surfers.
